Midnight Rain is a painting about the hour when darkness and light trade places. Layer over layer of dark teal and ink blue has been laid down and scraped back, leaving long vertical traces that catch the light like rain sliding down a window at night, or the faint glow of a screen in an unlit room.
From a distance the surface feels calm, almost still. Up close it turns into a relief of knife marks, dragged pigment and half-buried earlier layers, part of an ongoing inquiry into where digital experience ends and physical material begins. The restrained palette holds a meditative quiet, with an undercurrent of tension running just beneath it.
