Azure Flow N2 is one half of a pair of small paintings about the rhythm of water. Ultramarine and turquoise collide with soft pinks and whites, like light breaking on a moving surface.
Here the movement turns inward: the knife marks curl and swirl like eddies and foam, gathering into darker currents near the bottom of the canvas. Together with Azure Flow N1 it forms a diptych, the two small panels answering each other across the wall.
