Foam-born Aphrodite takes its name from the myth of the goddess of love rising from the sea foam. Heavy impasto in deep ultramarine, sapphire, electric blue and seafoam green forms the dense, churning heart of the water, sculpted with thick strokes of brush and palette knife.
Against it, brilliant white, sky blue and hints of silver rise through the surface, like the moment of emergence itself. The raw texture and the directional flow of the paint give the canvas a sense of movement you can almost hear: a celebration of primordial force, of beauty, and of the chaotic energy of creation.
